Frequently Asked Questions
  • What styles of yoga do you practise?
    All classes are designed to offer a mix of styles suited to the broadest range of experience levels. Classes typically focus on a fusion of gentle Vinyasa flow sequences along with the restorative qualities of Yin yoga.
  • Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?
    Yes. As a safety precaution due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, it is essential that you bring your own yoga mat and any props you wish to use during the class.
  • Do I need to have experience?
    Not at all. All classes are designed to be suitable for everyone, from complete beginners to experienced yogis.
  • What should I wear?
    You don’t need any special clothing to practise yoga but it's important to be comfortable. Lightweight, breathable attire that allows for a full range of movement is recommended. We will not require you, or our teaching team to wear masks. However, if you feel more comfortable with a face covering and/or gloves, you are more than welcome to bring your own and wear them during the class.
  • How long does a class last?
    All classes are designed to last 60 minutes from start to finish.
  • What is the cost of attending a class?
    We currently offer 2 price plans. With the 'Pay As You Go' plan you simply pay €12 per class. This is a great option for the infrequent yogi or those who wish to 'try before they buy'. But we also offer a '10 Class Bundle' which incorporates a 20% saving. In other words you get 10 classes for the price of just 8. This option is best suited to students who expect to attend more frequently.
  • Can I attend a class if I have a physical injury?
    Yoga has long been practised as a form of both prevention and treatment for some types of physical injury. However please remember that it is always your responsibility to be well informed about any injuries you have and seek professional medical advice before practising yoga. Even if your medical practitioner has prescribed yoga as a form of treatment, it is very important to make your teacher aware of any physical conditions prior to taking part in a yoga class.
  • Do you offer 1-to-1 classes?
    Unfortunately we do not currently offer 1-to-1 classes. If this is something you are interested in, please let us know.
  • How do I enrol for a class?
    We highly recommend that you book online as this is the only way to guarantee your place is kept. We do welcome drop in customers however due to the limited number of places available there may be occasions where we simply cannot accommodate you.
  • I'm having difficulty booking my class online.
    If you're having difficulty booking online, please follow the steps below: 1. Click the "Log In" button at the top right hand side of the page and enter the username and password you created when signing up. 2. Now that you've logged in, navigate to the booking page by clicking "Book Online" within the menu at the top of the page. 3. Select the class you wish to attend and click "Book Now". 4. A calendar will be displayed showing the class options for the current week. If you wish to book for a future date, click the box displaying the current date/week (you should see a calendar symbol next to it) or by using the arrow icons alongside it. 5. Now that you have chosen the class date, please select the time slot for the class you wish to attend (you need to do this even where there is only one time slot available) and click "Next". 6. Now enter your Name, Email Address and Phone Number within the relevant fields and select the number of participants you wish to book for using the drop down menu. 7. Click "Next" and choose whether you would like to pay by card or pay in person using cash. If you've chosen to pay by card, please enter your details in the relevant fields and click "Pay Now" 8. Congratulations! You should now see a confirmation screen reflecting your new booking. If you're still experienceing issues, please contact us at info@sacredlotus.ie
  • How do I reschedule a class booking?
    You can reschedule your class for a future date by following the steps below: 1. Click the "Log In" button at the top right hand side of the page and enter the username and password you created when signing up. 2. Now that you've logged in, you should see your username presented where it previously said "Log In". Clicking your user name will reveal a drop down menu. Please select "My Bookings". 3. You should now see the details relating to your upcoming class with an option to "Reschedule". When you click "Reschedule" a calendar will be displayed. 4. Please locate the date you wish to attend by clicking of the box displaying the current date/week (you should see a calendar symbol next to it) or by using the arrow icons alongside. 5. Select the time slot for the class you wish to attend (you need to do this even where there is only one time slot available). 6. Click "Next" and you should now see a confirmation screen reflecting the newly rescheduled class date and time. Alternatively, please feel free to email us at info@sacredlotus.ie stating the class you would like to reschedule along with your preferred date and we would be happy to amend you booking for you.
  • I've received a coupon code. How do I use it?
    From time to time Sacred Lotus Yoga will issue coupon codes offering varying discounts on upcoming classes. If you've received a coupon code you can use it by following the steps below: 1. During the online booking process you will be asked for your Name, Email Address and Phone Number along with the number of participants you would like to book for. Within the same page click "Enter a coupon code" displayed in the summary window above the "Next" button to the right of the page. 2. Enter the coupon code and click the arrow to verify the coupon. If the coupon code you entered is valid you will see details of the discount that has been applied to your booking. 3. Click "Next". If there is a balance to be paid choose your payment method and complete your booking. If there is no balance to be paid you should now see a confirmation screen reflecting your new booking.
