General FAQ's
Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?
Yes. As a safety precaution due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, it is essential that you bring your own yoga mat and any props you wish to use during the class.
Do I need to have experience?
Not at all. All classes are designed to be suitable for everyone, from complete beginners to experienced yogis.
What should I wear?
You don’t need any special clothing to practise yoga but it's important to be comfortable. Lightweight, breathable attire that allows for a full range of movement is recommended.
How long does a class last?
All classes are designed to last 60 minutes from start to finish.
What is the cost of attending a class?
We currently offer 2 price plans.
How do I enrol for a class?
We highly recommend that you book online as this is the only way to guarantee your place is kept. We do welcome drop in customers however due to the limited number of places available there may be occasions where we simply cannot accommodate you.
Do you offer 1-to-1 classes?
Unfortunately we do not currently offer 1-to-1 classes. If this is something you are interested in, please let us know.
What styles of yoga do you practise?
All classes are designed to offer a mix of styles suited to the broadest range of experience levels. Classes typically focus on a fusion of gentle Vinyasa flow sequences along with the restorative qualities of Yin yoga.
Can I attend a class if I have a physical injury?
Yoga has long been practised as a form of both prevention and treatment for some types of physical injury. However please remember that it is always your responsibility to be well informed about any injuries you have and seek professional medical advice before practising yoga. Even if your medical practitioner has prescribed yoga as a form of treatment, it is very important to make your teacher aware of any physical conditions prior to taking part in a yoga class.

Covid-19 FAQ's
Do I need to bring my own yoga mat to class?
Yes. As a safety precaution due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, it is essential that you bring your own yoga mat and any props you wish to use during the class.
Will I be required to wear a face covering during the class?
We will not require you, or our teaching team to wear masks. However, if you feel more comfortable with a face covering and/or gloves, you are more than welcome to bring your own and wear them during the class.
Will you be accepting cash payments?
Unfortunately, as a safety precaution owing to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we will not be accepting cash payments. However we will be accepting online payments (at the point of booking) and contactless card payments in class.
Will you be social distancing?
Yes. We’ve limited class capacity to follow social distancing guidelines and allow for 2m between customers.
Do I need to pre-book my class?
Yes. In order to attend a class you must first pre-book your place at your desired class. The quickest and easiest way to do this is via the online booking form on our website. However please feel free to email (info@sacredlotus.ie) or call (086 7878 303) to arrange you booking.
What should I do if I feel unwell?
If you begin to feel unwell during class, we kindly ask you to inform your teacher immediately. You will be directed to the onsite quarantine area and a health professional will be sought.
if you have tested positive for COVID-19, or have knowingly come into close contact with someone who has, we ask that you do not come to the studio for 14 days or until you’ve tested negative for COVID-19.
How do I enter and leave the studio?
When you book your class, you will receive an email with guidance for entering and exiting your studio. Please arrive only 5 minutes prior to your class starting.
Your teacher will check you in while honouring your space. After class we kindly ask you to exit the studio within 5 minutes to avoid any crossover and allow time for the next class to set up safely.
Will you be implementing contact tracing?
Yes. All students will be required to sign in on arrival and provide the relevant contact information.
